Integrated and culturally appropriate whaanau hauora (wellbeing) support services. They provide information and advice, advocacy and facilitation of services from external agencies to whaanau. BFC Services help people, families and whaanau achieve their financial goals and gain control of their lives to make long term positive change, through access to financial advice, support, education, advocacy, and mentoring. BFC Services take a strength-based approach to empower people to get control of their money, set goals and achieve long-term, sustainable change. Our vision is to build the financial capability and resilience of people, families, and whaanau experiencing hardship. Outcome Goals: * Whaanau no longer in deficit. *Assistance with purchasing their own homes. * Coming up with a whaanau saving plan. * Increased confidence, competence, and coping skills. * Improved opportunities and life outcomes for tamariki. * The ability to set goals. * Smart use of debt and financial products. * Knowledge of the support that is available.
